  • The Red Tara Practice Group is affiliated with the Chagdud Gonpa Foundation, an international Nyingma Buddhist organization founded by H.E. Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche. For more information on the Chagdud Gonpa Foundation, please visit www.chagdud.org . The group meets on a bi-weekly basis on Tuesdays at 7pm to listen to Teachings, have discussion, and the practice of Red Tara meditation.   • Dzogchen Group of Pittsburgh (Lama Surya Das group) meeting at Saturday 3:30pm. For more information, contact Bob Marin at marinr@upmc.edu.

  • Shambhala Meditation Group of Pittsburgh: Mondays 6:30-7:30. This group is affiliated with Shambhala International, founded by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, a Tibetan Buddhist meditation master and scholar. The Group is part of a worldwide Shambhala community now directed by Trungpa Rinpoche's son and spiritual heir Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. More information about Shambhala Vision: www.shambhala.org

  • Rainbow Buddhists: Second Sundays 2:00 PM. The Rainbow Buddhists are a group for lesbians, gays, etc who either have a Buddhist practice already or are interested in learning more about Buddhism. At our monthly meetings there is usually a dharma talk on a general topic, followed by a social hour. All are welcome to join us.
